Re: Is it possible to update a DMP without Cisco Media Center?

Hi,

Yes, it is possible .. Just leave your DMP100 powered on and connected to the internet for 48hours especially on a weekend .. The device will automatically update the firmware of the device especially if it's running on the old firmware .. I would suggest that you do a reset on the device first, before doing the said steps ..

Cheers!

Re: Is it possible to update a DMP without Cisco Media Center?

Hi,

I have 2 DMPs, One DMP is updated, but the other remains in 1.7.3 version. In the Cisco Media Center, the about option didn't show anything in order to update. So It can be possible to force the update?

sLickWorm is right. But i think he forgot to mention that you have to do it during weekends. Leave your DMP plug and online starting Friday and check if you have the latest firmware by Sunday. The firmware upgrade process usually takes less than an hour but i suggest leaving it overnight just to be sure.

gmarden,

Good to hear that it is already working! By the way, the steps I suggested is also applicable to all Wireless Home Audio devices.

Cheers!
