I set up my guest access password...however, when i try to get online with a lap top, it doesn't show up on my networks. I tried to add it, but still nothing. It's a work laptop and i cannot use the valet usb to connect it, otherwise i would. Any help in accessing the network on a lap top is appreciated.

For the Guest network to show up, the initial installation of the router has to be done through the Cisco Connect software. Here is the link for how to set up your router using Cisco Connect: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=

No, need not have to buy any router. Just in order to show up the Guest Network you need to reinstall/reconfigure the whole router. While reconfiguring the router again make sure the existing Cisco connect should be uninstalled first and then follow the instructions provided in the link: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=

Hi! What is the model number of your router? On some routers, you will only find the guest password on the Cisco Connect software that will be installed using the easy setup key that came with the valet/router. There are some as well that you can find the guest password even without the cisco connect software installed.
If you have the computer that has the cisco connect software, open the Cisco Connect software on it then on the Guest Access box is where you can find the guest password.
If there is no cisco connect software (depending on the model of router), you can access the router's setup page using a computer that's working find behind the router (for instructions, refer to this link: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=
