168.192.1.1 HELP......

Hi all,I hooked my other PC last night in another room and am using a Netgear wireless usb adapter. It recognized my Linksys router but it needs a WPA passphrase........so I went into the room with my main PC to access the router. I typed in 168.192.1.1,tpyed in the user name/pass and waited for my router settings to come up....but nothing happened. Just a white page and no Linksys. I tried like 10 times before giving up in frustration. I think the last time it was accessed was about a year ago and it worked fine. Anyone know why?

Use the wired computer to open the linksys GUI.Disable the firewall of the computer as well.Also adjust the browser settings on the computer...Open an IE, click Tools >> Internet Options, then delete all files, cookies, history, forms...Goto "Connections", make sure Never Dial a Connection is checked, click on LAN Settings and make sure all the options are unchecked...Once you are done click on O.k...Close the IE and re-open it...Now try...

We are trying to bring our other wireless laptop on line.  Although I wrote the security key down, I cannot find our security key to type in the laptop to access the internet.  How can I locate my security key on my PC or laptop that can access the internet?

On a working pc, go to http://192.168.1.1 (no username, admin for password) Wireless tab>Wireless Security.
