Make the  connecting between your Router and Computer are right. Your computer should be connected to the Linksys Router and Port No.1. And on your computer click on Start - Run - CMD and click Ok and now in the Command Prompt type "ipconfig" and check whats the Ip address you are getting it on your computer, Then again in the Command Prompt type "Ping Default Gateway Ip" and Hit Enter and check if you are getting any Replies. If you get the reply messages, Now Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop). In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...
Leave username blank & in password use admin in lower case..... Once you login to your Router setup page you can make the changes on your Router.

I've already tried the ipconfig method.

I have to try the others right now.
