Can’t get my Linksys 8300 to connect to internet

I haven’t been on my laptop in months. It worked fine the last time I was on it. I’ve tried everything I know...from restarting the modem and the router and nothing...I even reset the router to its factory settings and started from scratch and still it won’t connect. Although it says it’s connected I can’t get on any websites at all. Can anyone help me please? I’m so desperate at this point I don’t know what to do.

Thanks,
DoeZ

If you are saying it's connected to the wireless, can other devices connect and use the internet on that same wireless network name?
