Cannot open 192.168.1.0 any longer

On Monday, I was able to log in to 192.168.1.0 and changed my password.   Today, I can't even open up the page!!!!   I have no problem opening other sites but this one will not open.  Any suggestions?   I am running Windows 2000, IE 6.0. WRTG54GS v.2.   Thanks.

Doublecheck and make sure that 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 is not the correct page. Those are the more common addresses for a router page. If you are not trying to get into the router, what are you trying to get into?

Re: Cannot open 192.168.1.0 any longer

I have tried 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1 as well.  Each time - I get the same message - "we can't find this page".   Somehow these are blocked on my system and I don't know how to get them unblocked.

Re: Cannot open 192.168.1.0 any longer

easy fix go to the command prompt type IPCONFIG/ALL
look for the default gateway, the default gateway is going to be the new "Modem internal page". When the user and password box pop up live the USER field blank and type "Admin" in the password field and it will open the modem internal page... simple
