Cisco Connect Features - Manual Access?

I have an E3000.

I was not able to use the easy setup Cisco Connect software, so I accessed the router through my web browser per instructions from tech support.

Can I use the features of Cisco Connect somehow? In particular I would like to set up a guest network.

I apologize if I've left out any pertinent info, wireless router set-up is new to me.

Thanks.

Re: Cisco Connect Features - Manual Access?

In order to use Guest network, It is necessary to install Cisco Connect software successfully on the computer.

There is no such option available under user interface page of E3000 router to enable the Guest Network.

Re: Cisco Connect Features - Manual Access?

Is it still possible to install the Cisco Connect software at this point?

Other than that, the E3000 is working fine.

Re: Cisco Connect Features - Manual Access?

To install Cisco connect software you need to reset the router and then re-configure it by running Cisco connect software.

Re: Cisco Connect Features - Manual Access?

Old thread, sorry for bringing it back up.

I want to do the exact same thing as Sid_Mac.

Did you ever figure out a way to do this?

Last resort would be resetting the router.
