No. The E1200 can only be operated as access point. Not as repeater. The E1200 will not connect wirelessly to other access points. It only accepts incoming connections...
Yes, but you'll have to replace the Cisco firmware with DD-WRT. The version for this router seems slightly unstable (I have to reboot the unit about once a day when it starts dropping/refusing connections) but it will allow you to use the E1200 as a repeater.
