I have chatted four times with the help desk on the down load speed issue without resolution. Both the router and modem are new. Connecting directly to the modem I get Mbps, but the router speed is Kbps. I upgraded the firmware and made various changes per Google searches. I would appreciate any suggestions other might have on this issue. Thanks
After firmware update, did you reset and reconfigure the router? Try to lower down the MTU settings. Who is your ISP? What about the brand and model of your modem?
I have determined the cause. I found and disabled the WMM switch which fixed (I think) the problem. I saw repeated references to this switch. It took a while to find the access. Thanks for you time bcil
