Man this is quite a problem for Linksys's consumers.

Has everyone here noticed if their units are running very HOT? (feel bottom of unit)
Put a fan on it, see if that solves the issues.
It solved my E3000 from disconnecting from LAN and internet every two hours and slowing connections.
Try it, see what happens.

Last night, I reflashed and completely reconfigured the E3000 with the latest firmware (again).
Problem still exists, within 12 hours or so my speed dropped from 48 mbps down, to under 5... reboot the router, or release and renew the WAN IP and the problem disappears.
310n does not exhibit the same problem using the exact same cables.
