I know you mentioned in a prior post that you did reflash the E3000 and reconfigured everything.
After reflashing, did you do multiple 30/30/30 hard resets?

Yep... I've had Linksys products for 10+ years now and am very familar with the need to blank and reset.
What is strange is that when your connection drops it goes from around 40Mb/s to around 5Mb/s. Mine never drop below 20Mb/s. It's a weird problem we are facing with this router. I hope they fix this quickly.

This is extremely discouraging as I need to connect to a VPN from home to work. And signing into the VPN is a pain. So a reboot is out of the question. And having slow internet with an $180 Linksys product is absurd. I want my money back or for Cisco to finally make a router that works properly.

This, as well as these types of problems usually occur in all new Linksys products. I've been using them over 10 years, and there is almost always something major that has to be fixed in the firmware.
It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't take so long to issue new firmware. Unfortunately, Tomato & DDWRT aren't yet available on this router. Linksys' hardware is awesome, but their firmware is sub-par.

Just for grins, I hooked my WRT310N back up in place of the E3000, and it ran 2 days, no slowdowns so far...
Same cables, same cable modem, etc... The problem is definitely with the E3000.
