I'm sure it's been answered somewhere. I lost the password for the E3000 router. I tried the cisco connect software after a reset (or two or three...) and it says that it can't connect and that the password was changed. I tried to access via the browser (192.168.1.1) and tried the user/password trick (admin) and that didn't work. Any bright ideas out there?

Connect the computer with the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on your Linksys router . Also make sure the Internet is connected to the router .
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds .
Power cycle the router and modem .
Run the Cisco Connect software again and see if that helps you .
