Re: E3200 Firmware 1.0.03 (Build 9) Feedback Thread

somebody noticed distinction between v1.0.03 and 1.0.04? I found nothing. Anybody from representatives of cisco can't give the intelligible answer why in an insertion multicast (it is impossible to write down static routes 224.x.x.x) is actually forbidden. I regret that spent money for this stuff!

Hopefully the succeeding firmware will be able to address all of these issues.

Maybe change the topic title to reflect the latest FW?

Good to hear.  Every now and then, my xbox 360 will drop connections with this FW. Not sure why.

What have you done so far with this? What about the other wireless devices?

Couldn't find a topic about firmware version Ver.1.0.04 (Build 1), so I'm posting it in this topic.

With firmware Ver.1.0.04 (Build 1), connecting to the Web UI of the router over https seems to work now (mostly), but it is terribly slow, both in IE and other browsers.

Loading time of pages is easily 10 times slower over https than over http.

You can see individual images and form elements loading. Loading time of a single page is over 10 seconds.

Additionaly, in Internet Explorer 9 it even seems worse as some actions seem to result in an error.

For example, when changing the language of the UI, you get an error.

I also encounter lots of lag spikes and unstable network speeds with this firmware version. See this topic for detailed info:

http://homecommunity.cisco.com/t5/Wireless-Routers/E3200-lag-spikes-and-unstable-network/td-p/546978

I hope this can be fixed.

Does that happen on one computer only or several computers?

I happen to read your other post and I hope too that there is a fix for that but so far you have exhausted everything already.

It happens on all computers. It also happens both when connected wireless and wired.
