You've mentioned on your other thread that you are connecting thru wireless G. Since you've mentioned here that the problem happens on all computers, are they using the same adapter? As for the wired connection, try to lower down the MTU size to 1400 if you have cable connection and 1356 for dsl connection. If ever you will get the same thing after changing the settings, possible that the router is defective.

The different computers have a different adapter (all G though). But this problem happens both wireless and wired. So it has nothing to do with my other issue, and seems clearly a problem of the router (or firmware).

So the router then is really intermittent. Like you said, you will try to lower the mtu down on router. I hope that helps.

Where can I get the ver 1.0.03 (Build 9)? Now in download page for E3200, only ver.1.0.04 (Build 1) is provided.
I have applied the "1.0.04 (Build 1)" but it seems only following two options are provided for 2.4G "Channel Width", in Wireless -> Basic Wireless Settings -> 2.4 GHz Wireless Settings.
1. Auto (20 MHz or 40 MHz)
2. 20 MHz Only
Why no option "40 MHz Only" is available for 2.4G?
Thanks.

There is no option to downgrade firmware for this router and you cannot get the previous firmware from the site. By the way, there is really no option for "40 mhz Only" for 2.4 ghz even when the previous firmware (1.0.03). You can only see the "40 MHZ only" on the 5 Ghz settings. ![]()

Maybe some users have older firmwares they can send you. I got a few older ones in the past on here. Ya, 1.0.03 is not the "new" firmware. The title of the topic should be changed to reflect the latest firmware. Not sure why the topic title is still mentioning an old firmware........

I have gotten the ver 1.0.03 (Build 9) firmware somewhere and applied it to E3200. Yes, NO "40 MHZ only" option is available for 2.4GHz. I have tried all previous firmware, but could not see the "40 MHZ only" for 2.4GHz. So it's hard to achieve 300Mbps for 2.4GHz with this router.![]()
I don't know why "40 MHz Only" is not available for 2.4GHz. Maybe it will cause some conflict to the wireless network. But it's user's decision to choose use it or not if it's available. It could be appreciated if the "40 MHz Only" option can be added to 2.4GHz for next firmware update if there will be a new firmware update for E3200.

The firmware can only be updated to 1.0.03 (Build 9) by using the cisco connect setup software. But from the download page, 1.0.04 (Build 1) is available. The cisco connect setup software can not get the latest version 1.0.04!!!

I don't know if a new firmware update for the E3200 is the works, but if so, I have a feature request...
I would be nice to have an option to enable the build in ftp server for the local network only. That way I can use the build in ftp server to share small data bewteen devices, without the ftp server being exposed on the internet.

Is IGMCP v3 now supported?
