Hi, please give us the option to disable the front status led too. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I just posted this question as well. That light is way too bright at night, wish you could dim it at least.

Put some black electrical tape over it.  Geesh.

hi. there is no option to disable or turn off the Cisco light on the front part of your router.  You can cover the router with cloth to conceal the lighting.

do not cover it with cloth, it'll overheat! use electrical tape!

Re: E4200 Front Cisco Status LED

This is a $160 device and I should use tape to cover the light because the developer could not add a switch to turn it off? Geesh!

Then it would be a $170 device.

Re: E4200 Front Cisco Status LED

it is odd that they give us the choice to disable the led's on the rear of the device

but not to disable the logo light, very odd indeed
