Re: E4200 with Airplay mirroring hangs

I tried iPad 2 and iPhone 5. iPhone 5 seems to work with QoS enabled like I wrote.

iPad 2 is not able to connect to WiFi N network.

On iPad 2 like on the video, the graphics of Asphalt 7 are very bad. On iPhone 5 I see mostly black screen when playing Asphalt 7, only status bar is visible and whe I crash the exposion is shown :smileyhappy: Ridiculous

Since other wireless devices you have are working, seems to me the router is quite working well though but anyways what i can suggest for your iPad 2, try to clear all cookies and cache on your iPad (Safari browser) and then try connecting. If it will till not going to work do these on the phone; Go to Settings > WiFi > Select your network name > Select 'Renew Lease' and then 'Forget this Network'. Then try reconnecting again.

Re: E4200 with Airplay mirroring hangs

[ Edited ]

I have iOS 6 on iPhone 5, Apple TV firmware 5.1, and other PCs on wired and 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi.

On 1.0.05 for a day, and QOS on and CTF Enabled, I had 24 hours of good luck.  Well, until a sudden slowdown on the upstream from 7mbps to 1mbps on all systems, wired and wireless, had to reboot router.

So went back to QOS on and CTF Disabled, the way I've enjoyed months of stability back on 1.0.03..

So with CTF enabled your upload speed is affected? Did you reset your router after upgrading to the latest firmware version or you just left it as it is? I didn't have any problems with upload speed with CTF enabled.

Re: E4200 with Airplay mirroring hangs

I can't believe how poor the support for the E4200 is from cisco!!!  Still no fix for this problem.  To make matters worse, Cisco Connect does not work with Mountain Lion, so I can't even try the work arounds that have been suggested by others here.

Linksys used to be the standard for routers in my opinion, but clearly not anymore!

Re: E4200 with Airplay mirroring hangs

I finally put different firmware on my router.  Should'nt have to but it works great and makes is a more powerful router.  My E4200 works fine now.

Unleash your router....its free...but a bit techy
