Is anybody able to download this?
The link just brings you to a description page not the file.

I think Cisco recently released the EA series routers this week that's why that page is available.
Firmware date of Jan 3rd 2012 only shows when they developed it.
Note: Subject edited to show correct product model.

Yes, got it after figureing out their webpage
I'm pretty piss off about Linksys I bought the E4200 from directly to replace my WRT54GS and have problems since day one.
Then after a month or so they came out with ver..2, and they wouldn't let me upgrade because the 30 day expired.
From reading this forum the .v2 is much better than the .v1
I might just drop Linksys after 20 years and go with Belkin

Sorry to hear that. We do forward the issues posted here to the proper group for review.
Once we hear from them, we will let everyone here know.

That's good but the last few times I've call tech support they just left a sour taste in my mouth.
Their warranty is just a joke it wasn't like that years ago!!!!!!!
Stuff like this will ruin a company if it keeps up with "I don't care if customers don't like it" mentality.

Any idea why the new EA series is not being shown on the Products page?
How is EA series technically different from E series?
It seems E4200v2 and EA4500 has same firmware version and build id.

We're not sure of the internals of the EA4500 vs the E4200V2. I purchased the EA4500 and used it for a day then returned it. It didn't seem to be an improvement upon the E4200 with current firmware as far as range, and performance that I could see. I assume the EA4500 is on par with the E4200V2 though.

Maybe we should look into Cisco and find out if they are having problems with the company itself (which I can not believe) or is it just Linksys, when I call Tech they do not know much about their own products even at higher levels of support.
I was just thinking about getting E4200v2 but I'll hold off for now. Netgear is getting far better results the best I believe, and Belkin too.
I have always used Linksys because they were stable networking choice, but I don't know now what's going on.
