EA6900 Firmware 1.1.42.155232 A FLOP!

Mr. Moderator, sent you the contact information in regards to my first post EA6900 Firmware 1.1.42.155232 "immediately" as you requested....still no reply from you to "help me" in 4 days.  Seeing how technical support runs it's no surprise though.

Got RMA replacement router AE6900 two days ago. Please refer to original post EA6900 Firmware EA6900.

Setup again without a hitch with automatic firmware upgrade to version 1.1.42.155232.  Less than 48 hours later the repeating sequence of pulsating, solid, blinking, then solid power light.  After three hours with technical support most of time re-explaining the condition over and over again problem moved to engineering level support who will call me back in 24-48 hours.  Based on last time to call me back by Senior level tech support  in 5 minutes which was 1.5 hours at which point I called them back 24-48 hours could be next week or next month.   For those of you reading this post, unless you want to become a Linksys/Belkin Beta tester for free like me, don't buy the EA6900 as technical support is aware of this problem and have no solution other than placing you on hold forever.

Linksys/Belkin Technical support:   Just thought of a few solutions to the problem...buy ten of these routers, set them up and wait 2-4 days you should see the pulsing and blinking.  You can find a solution on your time and not the customers.  Which brings me to my second solution....test your equipment before releasing it!!!!!!

I'm not experiencing this issue at all.  I have mine connected to an Actiontec C1000A that is in bridge mode.

I have the Verizon FIOS Router internet facing and the EA6900 doing double nat with the firmware  1.1.42.155232 and is working properly my speed test from verizon shows 82/36 mbits more than the contracted speed 75/35. using wireless adapter Intel  Dual Band AC 7260. Please provide more information about your configuration like your ISP and if there are any other router in your current setup.

Re: EA6900 Firmware 1.1.42.155232 A FLOP!

Have the router connected to Cisco Model DPQ3212 Modem (COX Communications) and a WUMC710 (wireless AC extender).  I have great internet speed...don't beleive I said anything about the performance of the router....just the inappropriate blinking and pulsing of the power light.  According to the 6 senior level techs at linksys, this is a big annoying problem frequently being reported and they are looking for a solution. Again it works fine for a couple of days, then the lights start pulsing and blinking  randomly, but function still great.

Re: EA6900 Firmware 1.1.42.155232 A FLOP!

Are you guys happy w/ the EA6900 router?

For whatever reason I have been unable to find any reviews on the net - and it's been out for three weeks now. There are plenty of reviews/feedback for the 2 other AC1900 routers (Netgear R7000 & Asus RT-AC68U) but nothing for the EA6900.

It works great...great speed but latest firmware causing pulsating and blinking power light on the two routers I have had so far.  Support working on this annoying problem, but that is all it is...annoying.

Re: EA6900 Firmware 1.1.42.155232 A FLOP!

Linksys finally posted the release notes for the latest firmware.  I've had my router for a week now and have not experienced any pulsating light.  I'm going to assume it might have something to do with your setup.  Just a thought.
