How to know router active ports

Hello,

I have wrt54gl router and I have made an industrial setup where there are PLCs (Programmable logics) connected to routers different physical ports. My problem is that I should know somehow know which PLC is connected to which physical port. So my question is that is it possible to know which IP is connected to which port in the router.

No. The switch is like an unmanaged switch. There is no way to access the MAC address tables of that switch. (IP is irrelevant on that level).

Okay, Thanks.

Do you have an idea how this could be managed. With real switch or multible network cards?

Standard (business-grade) managed switch should allow you to check the MAC address tables for each port. This allows you to locate the port on which a MAC address is connected (either directly on that port or through other switches).

I don't know how you want to use multiple network cards...
