I forgot my password for my wireless router

Is there a way to find my existing password with out resetting router and starting over?

What router are you using?

When you say "password", do you mean your router login password or your encryption password?

Your encryption password is located in the router.  Login to your router at 192.168.1.1 , then go to the wireless page, and look near the area where you entered your encryption method.  With WEP, you need to enter "WEP key 1" into your computer.  With WPA and WPA2, you need to enter the key (sometimes called password or passphrase) into your computer.

If you have forgotten your router login password, there is no way to recover it.  You will need to reset the router to factory defaults.  Then the router login password will be "admin"  (with no quotes).  You will then need to setup the router again from scratch.

It shows the network key ..... .have a note for the same ......
