I am new to this wireless thing...yeah finally joining the 21st century. Well I bought a Linksys-Cisco wireless G Broadband Router model # WRT54G2 some time ago, and I never installed it. Now I cannot find the set up CD-ROM or the user guide CD-ROM. Is there a way to down load these from the product site...or anywhere else online? Please help.....

All of the setup files that are located on the WRT54G2 CD can also be downloaded from this Cisco/Linksys link:
http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/wireless/lbc/WR
When the above link loads, select the "Downloads" option. On the "Downloads" section, select your router version from the drop down list to see the available firmware, manuals/quick start guides, and setup programs.
You will find both Windows XP/Vista and Mac setup files that can be downloaded.
The alternate way to find the firmware, setup files, and manuals/quick start guides, if you use different router is to click on the "Support" menu choice at the top of this page (or any page in this forum, then input your router model into the "Start Here" field and click the ">" search button. When the specific router support page appears, click on the "Downloads" option and follow the steps previously mentioned above to download the setup files.

Welcome to the Cisco Home Community.
If you mean the setup wizard, follow bennors instruction above. Otherwise, type 192.168.1.1 on your hardwired pcs browser and you can configure the router from there.
