I recently upgraded to Linksys E3000 and AE1000 for our home network. I have 2 PCs, 2 laptops, 2 XBOX 360s, 2 Android Incredible phones and a Blackberry Storm on the network. All but the one PC that is connected via a wireless adapter can successfully connect to the network. That PC is connected to the AE1000. I have checked all of the documentation but the issue it has is that it "sees" the 3 networks (2.4 GHz, the 5GHz and the Guest) just fine but it can not connect to it because it keeps saying that I either need to enter the correct network password (which I am) or that the signal is not strong enough (although in the Windows wireless manager it shows a strong signal strength for all 3).
I have installed the AE1000 to one of my laptops and it has the same non-connect issues. I have tried the previous wireless adapter that this PC was using before with no connection with the E3000. I have re-installed the previous wireless router on my network and the AE1000 wireless adapter connects to it with no problem. So it tells me that it has to be a setting that I am overlooking on the E3000 to connect with a wireless adapter.
That PC that is having the wireless adapter issue is running Windows XP with all of the updated service packs. I have downloaded and installed any recent drivers for the AE1000. I have contacted Linksys support with no avail because I was told that the AE1000 must be defective, even when I advised the tech that it connected on another wireless router.
I prefer to use the E3000 for my network, not only for storage, but for my 2 XBOX 360s. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciative.

Download the latest drivers from here http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php 12/31/2010 See if this might solve the problem as these drivers are newer then what Linksys offers directly. It uses the Ralink RT3572 chipset.

I removed the drivers and installed the new one. I still can connect the Linksys wireless adapter to the Belkin wireless router but not to the Linksys E3000.
