Im am trying to forward my ports for gaming but I cannot access my router. I have put the usernam admin and left password blank vice versa and user name password and password username vice versa. This is a new router and this is my first time trying to access it.

Try admin and admin.

I can think of only two default login credentials.
Leave username blank and type admin as the password. O, as previous,
Type admin and admin.
Other than that, there must be an existing password setup with the router.
Unfortunately, you'd have to reset and reconfigure the router from here.

The only way to know if you did it right is by checking if you can login to the router's setup page via the default username which is blank (leave empty) and admin for the password.

Do you mean you are already inside the router's set-up page? Go to the Administration Tab and you can see an option there where you can change the router's password. With that, I mean the router's username and password when you login to 192.168.1.1.
