My Iphone keeps getting dropped off my network after we set up our wrt160n router

i just recently installed the wrt160n router and i am able to connect all the computers at my house but whenever i come home and try to connect to our home network my iphone will get dropped or i keep recieving error messages saying unable to connect and i know it's not problems with the phone because it's brand new but i didn't know if this was just a compatibility issue or an error in our wirless network setup i used all the default settings for the router

Change the wireless channel.

set radio band to wide, standard channel to 11. Set security to wpa, and then try.
