So i have a ps3 and an xbox 360 both connected to my router my ps3 is hard wired and xbox uses a wireless adapter. Ive setup static IP's for both and ive got UPnP enabled. On my ps3 with it enabled it works fine and gets open NAT but my Xbox gets Moderate NAT even though i have all ports open that it needs. If i turn off UPnP then the Xbox gets Open NAT but my ps3 gets a moderate NAT.
I tried adding my ps3's IP as a DMZ but nothing changed it still says moderate NAT i tried same with my xbox. Is there something thats not working right with my DMZ setting
Anyone have things i can try?
I have also updated to the latest firmware on the router as well.

You can try the steps below:
Access the page of your router
Click Admin Tab, disable UpNP.
Click Applications and Gaming Center Tab
Click Port Range Triggering
Then trigger ports: 3074/53/88/22728/33233
2869/10280-10284/1900/1024
Ex:
Application name: xbox1, xbox2
xbox1--enter port 3074 on all 4 boxes and click enable
xbox2--enter 10280 on start box and 10284 on end box, same for the other 2 boxes and click enable.
Enter all number and on the applications boxes and save

Open the setup page of the router and change the MTU size to 1365. Save the settings.
Go to Security tab and uncheck the box ' Filter anonymous Internet request.' Save the settings.
Try to open the ports on the router for PS3 and Xbox as explained by balir .
Power cycle the router and see if that works.

I have a v.1 router w/firmware 1.2.11. Just thought I'd share how I got my NAT opened. I was having the same issue with my XBox stuck at a Moderate NAT setting. I've read multiple forums on the issue and none of the solutions seemed to work.
I decided to do a hard reset on the router to clear the NVRAM. The procedure I used to hard reset was the 30/30/30 method:
Hold the reset button on the back for 30 seconds, unplug while still keeping the reset button held for another 30 seconds, and finally plug the router back in while still keeping the reset button held and for another 30 seconds.
Setup your router for your network...
I created a static IP address for my XBox and assigned DMZ to that IP, and left UPnP enabled.
All other setting (besides my wireless and password) were left as the default router settings. I didn't need to uncheck any options under the Security tab or forward any ports in the Applications and Gaming tab.

I've been working on this problem for about 5 hours. Also, the chat support people were not any help. Cisco, you need to do better than that! Anyway, what I did was go to port range triggering and put in the basic Xbox 360 ports ( 88, 3074, 80, 53) and enable them. Make sure none of the other forwarding or DMZ is enabled. I set my 360's ip address to a static address outside of the dhcp range (so something like 192.168.1.180). The tricky thing is to DISABLE UPnP under the Administration tab. It was tricky because I kept reading and hearing that I needed to enable UPnP.

I was having the same issue, I disabled my UPnP and restarted my network and everything worked fine.

Wow! After messing with it for over an hour, I tried the disable UPnP option and opened the 4 ports (88,3074,53 and 80 like xbox wants). It just worked on my xbox 360. Thanks guys.

I really think your problem is with your DSL modem not this router. In order for your router to work properly and allow NAT through to your internal network you DSL modem must be configured in Bridge mode. If your Modem has any router capabilities and most do, you need to configure your modem into bridge mode so the routing features are turned off and your cisco router can then properly open ports.
Please keep in mind that putting your ISP provided modem into bridge mode is not supported by the ISP, but VERY nessasary, if you buy your own router.

I have the same router and firmware. Was the static ip address you set up outside of the dhcp range? Also, I assume you connect to the XBox only via wired connection??
