Need Guest Password

I just installed a Linksys E1000 to replace a Linksys-G model.  It was working fine on two laptops, but we wanted to upgrade.  Access is fine on one, but on the other (Dell with Windows XP) no matter which network I connect to, it keeps asking for the guest password.  Why does it do that and how do I find the guest password?

Thank you in advance.

Re: Need Guest Password

If you have installed a Cisco Connect software on any one of your Computer, Open the Cisco Connect software and then click on the Guest Access tab and in that window you will find the Password for your guest account.

Re: Need Guest Password

The Guest account is ONLY configurable through the Cisco Connect software.  You MUST load this in order to access the Guest network.

Re: Need Guest Password

You can't.  You must login to the router with your wired computer and use the Cisco Connect software and access the guest account to find the password.  Then you can use that password to access the guest network.

Re: Need Guest Password

I'm facng the same issue, can't change anything withthe guest network unless you run software that says it can't do anything because I've changed something myself. How long before this gets fixed.  Now its decided a system that I've given a static IP on the wired network isn't ging to get through.  Nothing preventing it in the setup, so once again I have to default the router to use some poorly written software to start over.

Are there any current selling models that do not require use of cisco connect?  How do I exchange this model, I'm past the retailer's return period.
