I just got a 2tb WD my book HD and the WRT610N. I have 2 windows computers, 1 mac and a PS3 that will be using both the router and storage. I have figured out how to get the drive shared or atleast visible. I try to add files from both the mac and the windows machines and it doesnt allow me. I created a profile, group on the storage/admin. But Im not 100% sure how to implement it for the machines. I am running FW 1.0, I couldnt get the .bin file to complete, it got to 26% and failed to update.
Question 1 What do I need to do in order to be able to add files to the folder on the drive?
Question 2 What do I need to do in order for my PS3 to play the avi's I have, I saw it on my PS3, but since there arent any movies on it I couldnt test it out. It looked like twonkey vision. Is that a reliable to use to play back avi's, wmv, 264's?
