I'm experiencing problem with my internet connection using WRT120N
I use the router at home using lap top. I have Windows XP Service Pack 3 OS.
I already tried all the suggested troubleshoot available here but nothing change:
I also tried ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew
I also check all the connections and all the lights are normal.
I also use ping and the results:
Sent = 4
Received = 4
Lost = 0
I also tried a different lap top but still no connections

The problem occurs occasionaly. Sometimes I got connection, sometimes none.
I also tried the routers' web-based set up page click status and it indicates 000.000.000's
on DNS, IP address, Gateway etc.

I tried the DSL and here's what I got:
I use laptop so I don't have anything to connect to the ethernet ports. I connect the modem to the router after establishing internet connection. All the LED's light up.
Then I changed Local IP Adress from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.1 then click save setting
I get the following message:
Setting are successful. You will be returned to the previus page
But it did not, I receive the "web page is unavailable". My wireless connection got disconnected.
I turned off the modem and unplugged the wireless wait for 60 seconds and turn on the modem and plugged the wireless and wait for connection.
I return to the page again click status but still zero's.
I use the ipconfig/release and renew but still nothing
Then I click Set up
change from Automatic to PPPoE
click Keep alive redial period 30
put my username and password then click save settings:
The page said "settings are successful you will be returned to previous page" but it did not.
I turned off the modem and unplugged the wireless again and turn them on and plugged wireless.
But now, a new problem: I cannot connect to my wireless anymore.
It seems that whenever I click "save settings" it really did not. save the settings. So I cannot access my linksys settings page anymore and that means I will not able to change back to the original settings. I hope you have some ideas to help me.

Thank God I was able to connect to the internet after I pushed the restart button of the router and renew my IP adress using ipconfig/release and renew.
I think my main problem is the occasional no internet connectivity. What should I do if it happens again? Is there any real solution? Should I upgrade my firmware?
