Port forwarding problems on E2500 router

I've read over the FAQ and followed the normal instructions for port forwarding, but can't seem to get it to work with this particular router, E2500.  I have tried both the single port forwarding and the multi port range forwarding, and neither works.  I've tried an older WRT54G router and port forwarding works fine on it, so I know it's not my ISP.

I'm running the latest firmware provided by Linksys/Cisco.  Any tips, suggestions, or ideas on what could be the problem?

Thanks

Re: Port forwarding problems on E2500 router

In reference to your query about port forwarding, may I know for what purpose you want to forward ports on your linksys router. If port forwarding is not working, you can also enable DMZ to open all ports on your router. Please click on the following link which shows how to enable DMZ.

Here is the link for enabling the DMZ: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=cfa1009a6e8b4e2e8efa2565ef7e0257_17343.xml&pid=80&...
