Thank you for your help and for your patience. Without your expertise I never would gotten the new router set up. I did decide to go back and change to bridge mode – very easy step since I didn’t have to reset the modem and start over. The network works fine now. I have file sharing and internet access to each of my 3 computers. I also like the fact that I can access the config panel now from all the computers. I’m set up to share connected printers, so I’m going to wire my network printer to the ICU computer and use it that way.
Thank you,
Valerie Detling

Just a postscript to the network printer: It appears that the new router or its setup is much more sensitive about IP addresses than the old one. I noticed on the printer specs that the IP address on the network printer was: 192.168.100.119. When I changed it to 192.168.0.119, the printer connected instantly to the network. Thank you to everyone who tried to help me with this router, especially Expert gv

for this concern you need to verify the speed that you will be getting from the modem and from the router(wired and wireless).

How do i change my passward

Are you referring to the password for the wireless network? All you need to do is access your router page then go to the Wireless tab > Wireless Security subtab and on the passphrase box is where you can change the password. I want to set up E1200 internet Wireless Router.
Following are fundamental questions;:
1. Whether I shall need additional modem?
2. If yes is there any bare minimum specification?
3. Can I confugure WIFI Router by connecting internet port to Ethernet port of PC, in which Setup CD is placed in CD Drive, by Ethernet cable??

Do you want to setup the router without an internet connection? Or do you want to setup the router regularly - with a modem and use the router's internet connection wired and wirelessly? Your setup should be like this: the modem should be connected to the the Internet port of the router , from any of the ethernet ports there should an ethernet cable going to the ethernet port of your PC. You just need to run then the setup cd on the computer.
