I disabled WMM but my upload speeds are still terrible... TERRIBLE. I should get 4 mps; I get 500 kbs, if I'm lucky.

Does the new firmware (1.0.0.3) released on 3/1/2012 fix this issue?

Unbelievable... it still doesn't work..

Since I got the old firmware, it is working as per normal without the other improvements that come with the newer firmware, nevertheless, I also agree that this will be the last linksys I ever get.

Thanks for being there. Disabling WMM was like night and day in difference with my wifi speed.

Thank you!
With Firmware version 10.0.04 the issue still persists. Switching off WMM solves the problem, thanks!. You might have to switch on/off wifi on your notebook to re-establish connection. Strange enough, the limited bandwidth issue only occured with notebooks, my iPhone didn't have any trouble at all.

Thank you so much for posting this. I had been fighting with Comcast trying to figure out the problem. They suggested I buy a new cable modem. I told them that was odd since the only way to resolve the slow response was to recycle my linksys router. They assumed because my cable modem was not at the new DOCSIS 3.0 standard, that might be causing the problem
So glad I ran into this solution. Now there is no need to recycle my linksys router 2 or 3 times a day to get my speeds up. Also my VOIP calls are sounding 1000 times better now. Thanks so much.
