Apologies, folks; looks like the contents of my original post did not make it to the forum; below is a summary of the problem.
============================================
Working Environment:
1TB
eSATA drive with multimedia content attached to a PC running Windows 7
Home Premium, with Windows Media Player serving as a streaming server.
PS3 Slim playing the multimedia stream, using native DLNA client. Both
devices connected to a Linksys WRT-300N wireless router, over 100MBit/s
wired connections. Both, PC & PS3, are set to 100Base-T on the
Ethernet ports.
Issue:
I recently replaced the
aging Linksys WRT-300N router with a brand new Cisco E2000 router;
nothing else has changed. Now, the PS3 is experiencing jerks/jitters in
playing the video streams. I suspect the E2000 is running the Ethernet
ports on Auto, instead of fixing on 100Base-T, as the ports are
10/100/1000Base-T. I need confirmation on the same, and the method by
which I can set the ports on the E2000 to 100Base-T.

Appreciate your help; thanx!
Kind regards:
Mansoor
