As I have mentioned before,I have configured my router to connecting via PPPoe.After doing this, both my computers can connect to the internet simultaneously or individually without typing in my user name and password. They connect as soon as they are switched on but wired ONLY. I do not have a wireless card in my desktop so it is not an issue just now so thats OK.My Laptop does not connect wirelessly.
The message I get is "Limited connectivity" "No internet access" Do you think it is advisable for me to delete my wireless connections (I have a PPPoe connection too which does not work now) and start afresh?Would I have to reconfigure my router to enable this?

No need to reconfigure the router brownwolf66. You just have to check the wireless settings on the router and make sure that settings are synchronized with the laptop. To check the wireless settings of your router, this link should help you: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?pid=80&vw=1

Thank you for your suggestions.I have verified the wireless cofiguration in my router home page and nothing had to be changed.I finally checked my LAN connection and found that I had to re-enter my correct SSID and passphrase and,hey presto, she is done.
Now my laptop connects to the internet wirelessly like a charm.
