My WRT110 suddenly became horribly unreliable. First off I have factory reset it and re config'd it from scratch. No improvement.
Ok so the issue is that after running for a short while, say an hour, throughput drops to near zero in both directions. Cold restart of the router temporarily fixes things.
When I look at the front panel of my SB5101 cable modem the PC/Activity orange light is rapidly flashing NONSTOP. This is true whether I have any wireless clients attached or not. Otherwise the only clients attached to the router are (1) PC, (1) Netgear PS121 print server, (1) 1 Vonage V-Portal TA. All hardwired to the router. I tested the print server by unplugging it as well. No change.
I am running the latest firmware - I have been running the latest firmware for more than 2 months.
The Wireless clients that are connected IF they are connected are: (2) Laptops, (2) Desktops, (1) iPod. All of which have been shut off right now. The PC/Activity light on the cable modem is still rapidly flashing NONSTOP.
So is the router broken? I've cold started it multiple times. I have restored factory settings and rebuild the config from scratch. This is exactly the same config as has been on the router for nearly a year.

Well yes, except there appears to be no way to specifically block a port range for a discrete date or time range. The access restrictions feature is rather crude. Either you kick off a MAC address for a day and/or time, or you turn ON specific ports for a day time range, but there appears to be no way for example to block access for one MAC address for ports 27684-27685 for ONLY 6am-8am every week day AND 4pm - 8pm on Saturday.
I can plug in most of those values but I am forced to use the 'allow' not the 'deny' radio button, which, I assume means that when I also plug in days and times, anything outside of that range is 'deny' by default.
