Hi all,
I am trying to re-setup the wireless security for my router. I want to use WAP, but do not see this available in the drop down options.
Do I need a firmware update? The current version is 1.00.5. If so, where can I get the update file?
Many Thanks in advance!

Not sure if that's the latest, Cisco seems to have taken the firmware down. Go here if you need to download a new firmware. Also, check if you have PSK or PSK2 personal in the options. That's the equivalent for WPA/WPA2.

Thanks! The link you provided was blocked by my malware program with warnings..... :-(
Would you recommend PSK over WEP?

You want WPA2-AES and nothing else.

The names on the WRT150N are confusing.
PSK equals WPA
PSK2 equals WPA2
WPA2 aka PSK2 with AES is the best you can have. It's mandatory to get speeds higher than 54 Mbit/s. Set the router to PSK2 Personal with AES (only) and set a strong passphrase.
WEP provides no security anymore. The WEP key is cracked within 5 minutes. Don't use it.
