All of a sudden, I could not connect to the Internet. I kept getting error message "Can't connect to DNS server", or similar. I have an ATT/Yahoo account, Speedstream 5360 Modem and WRT160Nv3 router. All was working well until yesterday. I was finally able to speak to an ATT Tech today, and he guided me through several troubleshooting actions and we were finally able to connect just using the modem. But when I connect the router, the network works, but I can't connect to the Internet. If I disconnect the router, I can access the Internet. None of my settings has changed. I saved router settings on my computer, and have compared them; all the same. The tech finally said it could be the blue cable from router to computer, or the router. So I'm hoping someone here can suggest another troubleshooting before I buy another cable and/or router. I've only had it 3 years, but it's out of warranty. Help please!

can you tell which lights are lit on your router? if you have all the settings written down/saved, you can reset your router (under the Administration tab) and then re-enter the settings. see if that works.

All lights seemed to work normally. I tried resetting the router to no avail. I finally bought an E1200 and used it's Cisco Connect to set it up. However, when I reset my Network Magic, it went ok except it had stated it cannot access Wireless Security nor Network Lock to enable those features. But somehow, the features are now enabled and NWM indicates those items are enabled and secured. I had thought there would be a conflict between Cicso Connect and NWM, but it appears they do work ok togerther?
Thanks for the reply to my first post.

Hmmmmmmmmm... I think you'll be able to do fine without Network magic

I apologize for not posting earlier, but the problem seems to have worked itself out. So I guess Cisco Connect and Network Magic learned to work together by itself?
