I'm unsure on how to describe this problem, but everytime I try to set up a LAN game with 3 different systems connected to this router (by cable), it fails and the router has to be resetted to regain connection at all.
Independently we can work fine, so there are 5 systems connected to the router as well as 3 mobile devices and they all work fine when using the network. When we sometimes start up a LAN game, we either can't find eachother in the lobby or the network fails after a few minutes.
I've already updated to the latest firmware and added some tweaks. Though I'm not an expert, I had to change some numbers adviced by the Cisco support chat which worked great for another problem. Am I expecting too much of the router or is something else wrong?

As you are trying to Play the game in LAN network make sure you all the computers are in same Workgroup .
As you are able to play the games independently on the computers that means router is working fine .

Thanks, will try it out. I will first try a special workgroup and then even a homegroup if that still doesnt work. I'm feeling like a douchebag that I hardly know anything about networks...

if youre using ethernet connection for these computers, try adjusting the link speed or TX rate on your ethernet adapter properties. set them to 10mbps half-duplex or 10mbps full duplex. see if there are changes.
