Hi there.

 

Today i got a new modem (old one broke) and after that my Internet LED light startet to be green and not blue like it use to be.

Anyone know why.???

Can´t see anything about it on the user guide or on this forum.

Hope some one can help.

There is nothing wrong with the router .. Leds are normal to have green lights ,, i just forgot what's the meaning if you have blue leds or green leds ..

Hi Ghost666!

 

Your router is actually a gigabit router. Green internet light means that you're getting a gigabit connection from your new modem.

okay. just funny thats not in the user guide.

normaly the wireless / internet and power is blue , and the 4 slots is green.

Internet (Blue): The Internet LED lights up when there is a connection made through the Internet port. A flashing LED indicates network activity over the Internet port. dude ... plz read .

where in your post is there ANY thing about i can turn in to a green light.

Like i said before it use to be blue and now it is green and you cant se anywhere in the user giude what green means.

GREEN light actually means that you're getting 10/100 connection on the modem. so the new modem you have is NOT gigabit enabled.

i did during search find out that the modem did send 1gigbit and thats why the router light up green.

And Cisco confirmed thats when light is green on internet it is 1gigabit line from modem to Router.
