I have the next problem: There is a DSL connection via D-Link DSL-380T modem by bridge mode to ISP. I (want to) use WRT54G in AutoConfigDHCP mode (i suppose it is correct to a.m. connection), but it is inpossible to set up this mode, at save mode command stops the router and no more any action from the router. Can somebody help?
check if you have the latest firmware on router. and as the modem is in bridge mode you will not be able to use the Auto Cinfiguration DHCP mode, you will have to use PPPoE configuration.
will you replace the DLINK router with the WRT54G????
if you wanna connect the dlink router with the wrt54g the just disable the DHCP server on the wrt54g and change the IP of the wrt54g same with the dlink router(ex. dlink has 192.168.0.1,change the wrt54g to 192.168.0.2.
if you wanna use the router to automatic dhcp then change the locan ip address of the router to a different range(ex. 192.168.2.1)
when you use the second option you must ask your ISP to unbridge the modem.
