you need to access the router set-up page to check for the correct password... since you're using a MAC pc:
if you don't know the address of the router:
1. click on the apple icon.
2. go to system preferences.
3. then go to networks.
4. on the TCP/IP tab, look for router no (e.g. 192.168.1.1)
if you already know your router's address:
1. open-up a web browser.
2. on the address field/bar, type-in the router's no. (e.g. 192.168.1.1) then press enter or click go
3. you'll be prompted for a username and password. by default, leave the username field blank and for the password type-in admin, then press OK.
4. on the Linksys set-up page, click on the wireless tab, and wireless security, on that page you'll find the encryption type and the password (if the encryption is WEP, the password is listed under key no.1,2,3 or 4).
by the way you need to do this if the pc is hardwired to the router, okay!
