When I use 192.168.1.x, what IP address do people use to reach me from outside my network?

Suppose that I'm connected via wifi to my wireless router and I've been assigned address 192.168.1.10.  My wireless gateway is 192.168.1.1, and my internet provider has assigned an address of 92.43.102.57.

If someone from outside of my network wanted to reach my computer (192.168.1.10), what IP address would they type to reach me?

You would have to set up port forwarding in the router. The outside world is always going to see the ip assigned to you by your ISP, not the private ip 192.168.x.x.

Thanks. Yes, I understand that port forwarding would have to be set up. Since the router can only forward a specific port to one private IP address, it sounds like only one computer on the private network is addressable from the outside world, unless they need different ports. If two computers on my private network both run an application that needs to use the same ports to receive data from the outside, it would sound like they can't, because the router can't forward the same port to two different addresses.

Yes the router can't forward the same port to two different addresses...instead you can forward the two ports to a single ip address & it will definately work!!!
