Wireless-N 5GHz Radio Channels available on EA4500

Does anyone know what Radio Channels are available for selection when operating the EA4500 in Wireless-N (5 GHz) mode only?

I need to find a router that can be specifically set on channel 120 in the UK

If the router supports it, then yes as far as this goes.  But need someone in the UK to verify.

Per ETSI/EC regulations (for Europe) you can manually only select channels 36, 40, 44 and 48.

This is valid for the EA4500/V4200v2 and probably other Cisco models set for Europe (not sure if that can be changed, seems to be dependent on country of purchase).

Channels 52-140 will only be used by the Automatic (DFS/TPC) mechanism.

Above is different for other areas, see channel overview (Wiki):

Thanks for the response. I am aware that Channel 120 is available in the UK, It is whether the EA4500 (or indeed any other router) supports it that I need to find out.

I have been allocated this channel to use at a large event, however my existing Netgear routers can only be set to 36, 40, 44 or 48 in the UK.

If anyone can confirm or recommend a suitable device it would be appreciated

Check this information:

It seems routers intended for the US will not give you chanel 120 on the 5 GHz frequency.

I tried to check online for such router that can cater that. Sorry I was not able to find any. As for the channels for 5 Ghz on an EA4500 check below:

A similar topic can be found here:

http://homecommunity.cisco.com/t5/Wireless-Routers/E4200-5ghz-channels/td-p/393065

The available channels for manual selection are regulated by law as allready outlined.

There seems to be a region setting "fixed" in the router, depending of country of purchase.

The following page seems to shows the "region" in the second line from top: http://192.168.1.1/SysInfo.asp

E.g.: ModelName: E4200-EU

Which mean Europe and apparently sets the manual 5GHz channel to 36, 40, 44 and 48.
