I recently replaced an old router with a WRT54GL. At first, I had the network setup with no security and my PC and laptop had no problems connecting to the printer (Samsung CLP-600N). After I enabled security, the laptop cannot send jobs to the printer. The discovery software that came with the printer can find it; it just can't print to it. My PC (hard wired LAN) can print, but not the wireless laptop.

Do you get any error message when you try to print on your laptop?
Where is the printer connected? Is it connected to the router or desktop?
If the printer is connected to the router with the wired or wireless connection then try to ping the IP address of the printer. if you get replies from the printer IP address then your laptop is communicating with the printer.

The printer is connected to the router. I can ping the printer from the laptop and it replies as normal. There are no error messages other than the printer is not available
