Wireless security with the wrt54g router-- separating WLAN clients from LAN

I have a wrt54g router and would like to separate the WLAN clients from accessing computers and servers on the LAN... in other words I would like to make it a "guest" network. I've put the router in "router" mode instead of "gateway". I just want to be sure if that is the best thing I can do in terms of turning the wireless network into an isolated one.

Check out 3rd party firmware like dd-wrt.

As the scenario you have explained that will not be possible with Linksys/Cisco firmware. You cannot create a separate wireless Guest network.

Thank you for the info. Instead of flashing new firmware I am just going to buy a router with guest network support
