Hi,
I have a Cisco dpc3825 gateway which is connected to the internet. However, I am experiencing problems with it and I would like to use it just as a modem, and leave the LAN-stuff to my router. I.e. the router should connect to the internet via the dpc3825 and the dpc3825 should not do anything except connecting to the internet. Basically, my problem is described here:

I tried to follow these instructions, but got stuck. Is there a chance to get a detailed description on how to do this?
