how to connect another computer wirelessly with one WRT54G router

i have a WRT54G wireless linksys router and i was trying to hook up my computer in my room using the router downstairs but i don't know if i need a wireless base and another router to do so or what please help!

You'll need a wireless adapter. You basically have the choice between PCI cards, notebook adapters and usb adapters. PCI cards are for desktop with free PCI slots. Notebook adapters are for notebooks. USB adapters you can use on desktops and notebooks. For a WRT54G router you should get at least a 54G card/adapter like WMP54G, WPC54G or WUSB54G.
