how to find network password

well i got a ipod touch and im trying to connect to my network but i can remember the pass for our wireless network.  i've never needed it for my computer or xbox 360 i just need to know how to find the network pass.

The easiest way is to log into the router and look.

launch internet browser and type in on the address bar 192.168.1.1 when it's gonna ask you of the username and password, don't type anything on the username and on the password type in admin all in lower case, then you'll get into the linksys set up page, look for wireless and click on the subtab that says wireless security.then check your wireless password...

i have tryed that but it dont take the name (password) admin ? ? what should i do

you don't type in anything on username, it should be blank and yes password is admin

its user name is blank and yes i type in admin in the password but it dont work . . i get a page saying 401 unauthorized     authorization required

I have the same problem.  It may have something to do with Vista!!!!  I'm not sure.

Any suggestions?  Reset does not work either.

i got it to work . . did you fully install the linksys advisor ? ? thats what i had to do

As it was stated a earlier the new Linksys software has been redesigned it is highly recommended that you completely finish the auto setup from the software CD you received with the router itself.
