Hi, I have the following Router LRT224 Linksys.
I want to configure the IPSEC tunnel (by user or group).
The OpenVpn works fine for the users but it is limited to 5! That's why I want more VPN Tunnel.
So I've configured the IPSEC tunnel and I am connecting fine either by Tunnel, either by Group VPN.
The problem is :
- Client cannot ping the network
- LRT224 /VPN :
Summary Information see always waiting for connection for Tunnel and the IPSEC Client (Schrew) is well connected, in the log i Have (c2gips1)[2] IP:660 #61: [Tunnel Established] ISAKMP SA established
-when I use the Group VPN, I can see the client connected but i could not ping from the client to the Router/Subnet network and vice versa
In the Advanced Routing, I can see the IP from the client connected...
I use also the doc http://support.linksys.com/en-eu/support/business/LRT224 ..
in the schrew VPN configuration of the network i put :
Auto Config: Disabled and Use an existing adapter and current address
please let me know... help!! thank you

I've configured OpenVPN and Gateway to Gateway IPSec but not Client to Gateway IPSec.
I will do some testing with the Windows Client and post results.

I did some testing and think this is awesome. With this feature you can have an addition 45 VPN tunnels as you mention. I tested with two devices connected at the same time though different IPSec tunnels and both were able to ping devices on the remote LAN.
Equipment used:
VPN Client:
LRT224 VPN Client to Gateway Configuration:

The print screen and detailed step by step process make the shrewsoft vpn client configuration much easier to follow.
Nice one Chadster766.

I'm having the same problem and I went through the same steps and verified both end point configurations..... and still can't ping through to the subnet nodes from a connected client.....
I started a new topic: https://community.linksys.com/t5/Linksys-Small-Business/LRT224-VPN-client-2-Gateway-Connected-but-ca...
I've followed these steps also:

Did you follow my instructions above?

yes, I did, the vpn connection connects, but then I can't ping through beyond the VPN router.
from the other topic: (https://community.linksys.com/t5/Linksys-Small-Business/LRT224-VPN-client-2-Gateway-Connected-but-ca...
I've got a client-gateway group VPN tunnel setup and configured, I connect from windows to the tunnel using shrew client it connects and I can ping the LAN side of the router, but nothing beyond (laptops servers, etc.) How do I connect the tunnel to the LAN? seems like I'm missing som routing/forwarding piece for the tunnel...
I can ping the remote subnet from the LRT224 using the Maintenance tab. but I can't ping through from a VPN connected host anything on that subnet except the LRT224 address on that subnet.

I tried to setup the same VPN with an iPhone as the client and did not have the same luck. Any ideas?
