Linksys LRT 224 paired with Cisco 3750-G POE and Linksys SPA 942 , Vlan Configuration

Hi Linksys and Community,

 

    Is it possible for the phone and pc so to be on different vlans by using Vlan ID on Linksys SPA 942 , 

it seems it is not working it works when they are on the same vlan. Please help thank you in advance for your response

I'm not familiar with this particular hardware combination but the standard Cisco VOIP tech concepts still apply.

 

Typically you would create a VLAN for your VOIP network in your LRT along with it's IP Subnet.

 

Then you would enable the voice VLAN and setup OUI MAC detection in the switch so it will automatically enable the voice VLAN on any ports connected to a IP Phone.

 

The untagged VLAN (PVID\Native) and the tagged voice VLAN are trunked to the phone with the PC connected to the phone. The untagged VLAN will be used for the PC and the voice VLAN for the phone. Usually CDP is enabled in the Cisco switch so it can tell the phone what the voice VLAN ID is. 

 

LRT => Switch => Phone => PC
