Support for OPEN VPN

It would be great to be able to use the Velop for OPEN VPN, vs a client inside the network.

Re: Support for OPEN VPN

I have the same problem and would like to see a VPN Server support so from work or remote we can connect back to our network.

Re: Support for OPEN VPN

I created an account just for this.

I currently own the Velop as well and would like to get the built-in OpenVPN server on this amazing product.  I know it is possible because Linksys has already done it for the following products: WRT3200ACM, WRT1900AC, WRT1900ACS, and WRT1200AC

According to this post from Linksys:  https://www.linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=157327

Re: Support for OPEN VPN

i use open VPN client by using my original router as just a VPN endpoint, by using a port redirection rule in the cable modem router to direcet IPSEC ports to the WAN interface of the Technicolor Cablem Modem/Router

So far its working fine.

Re: Support for OPEN VPN

I would like this functionality as well. Love the Velop but it is a dealbreaker for me. If it’s not on the roadmap I’ll probably return it for another router that has this built in.

Re: Support for OPEN VPN

my working around, using my prevoius linksys router and a rule in the cable modem router works fine. I have working open VPN support in parallel with my velop router.

Yes please!

I've invested in a set of 3 Velop routers as well...
